Can I come to see what it's all about?
Absolutely! If you are interested in coming to have a look at what handgun shooting is all about, simply contact the committee indicating your interest. We will arrange one of our friendly team to meet you at an arranged time to show you around our facilities and introduce you to the shooting sports.
I'd like to join but don't know where to start?
The first step to getting involved in this great sport is to come and try. Simply get in touch with us using the contact form. Click HERE or use the contact link in the menu to introduce yourself and request more information about memberships and introductory shoots.
Introductory shoots a way of allowing people to see what the shooting sports are all about in a safe and controlled environment. During these introductory shoots you will be under the direct supervision of one of our experienced Range Officers.
How do I get to Ballistic Sports
We are located less than 15 minutes from Wodonga at 101 Klings Road, Barnawartha North.
Turn off Plunketts Road onto Klings Road (you will see our sign and a red flag at the gate) then follow Klings Road all the way through the gate at the top of the hill to the intersection.
Turn right at the intersection towards the shooting complex.
Continue along the road into the complex, following it as it veers to the right just before the rifle range carpark, around behind the facilities block and through the next gate to the BSI car park and club rooms
An interactive map and photos can be found HERE
When is Ballistic Sports Open?
The range is available for shooting 5 days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, with shooting allowed between 10am and 6pm.
A Range Officer must be present for all shooting activities.
We have regularly scheduled club matches every weekend based around a rotating calendar ensuring all disciplines can be enjoyed, as well as every Wednesday with the match decided by the members present. Any ranges not being used for matches are available to be used for practice provided an RO is present.
